Welcome to the J D FEARS Online Brochure

J.D. Fears & Sons supply garden structures, fencing, and gates across Sussex. The garden structures we offer are of superior quality and, if properly maintained, can endure for a minimum of 25 years and beyond.

We specialize in crafting customized garden structures. Deposits are mandatory for all sheds, and we provide a 2-year guarantee. However, this guarantee does not cover damages caused by natural events, felt deterioration, or vandalism. Each of our sheds is tailor-made to meet your specific requirements.

Please be advised that this brochure is accessible online, and all purchases can be made via phone, in-store, or through 3D design. Our sheds are exclusively crafted from pine, not chipboard. It is essential to ensure that your foundation is adequate, such as a concrete or slab base.

Business operations will continue uninterrupted. Effective November 1st, our office will be relocated to the yard situated on the side beyond the main gates.

Kindly note that the delivery timeframe for sheds is now approximately 2 to 6 weeks. For placing orders, please visit the following link: [Order Form](https://app.albanysheds.co.uk/order-form). You have the option to purchase your building through our network of local retailers. Many of these retailers have display sites and can provide additional services, hence we recommend selecting the nearest one to you. In the event that there is no retailer in your vicinity, please choose Albany Sheds Factory Display from the drop-down menu.

We firmly believe that tanalised or pressure treated sheds are often misrepresented as maintenance-free. In our experience, the most effective way to preserve the quality of a shed is by regularly applying a coat of treatment. While pressure treatment is essential for timber that will be in contact with the ground, it is worth noting that despite its appeal, many experts in the shed industry agree that it can result in increased shrinkage and cracking compared to untreated wood. Neglecting to treat a tanalised shed would cause it to deteriorate, appearing discolored and poorly maintained over time, and it would also be more prone to leakage during wet conditions.
